What better way to start your day than with our lovely Manuka Jelly Bush honey super breakfast smoothie! A combination of our fantastic Gustare Manuka Jelly Bush honey with fresh fruit and spinach for a hefty vitamin boost, alongside some oats and/or Chia/Flax seeds for a daily carbohydrate boost (a lower carb option would be to use Chia/Flax seeds only; they are also a great source of the good mono and poly unsaturated fats).  The addition of Matcha power adds a lovely hit of caffeine and a significant antioxidant boost.  Mix it all up with some water, fruit juice or healthy nut milk.

  • 1 small banana
  • 1 handful of blueberries
  • 1 handful of strawberries
  • 1 handful of spinach
  • 1 cup of water, fruit juice or preferred nut milk – whichever tickles your fancy!
  • 1 large teaspoon of Gustare Honey Manuka Jelly Bush
  • 1 teaspoon of Matcha powder (optional but recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon of oats and/or Chia/Flax seeds (optional but recommended)
  1. Blend spinach, banana, blueberries, strawberries and choice of liquid until smooth.
  2. Drizzle your Gustare Honey Jelly Bush Manuka into your blender and blend again.
  3. For added thickness, add a teaspoon of oats or chia seeds and blend once more.
  4. For that added health kick and energy boost, blend in a teaspoon of Matcha Powder.
  5. If your smoothie is a little thick for your liking, simply add more liquid.
  6. Enjoy a great way to start the day!
